Reflection #6: Canva

This course has been a good complement to my others in the sense that it’s exposing me to a number of different technologies.  I can see which ones make sense to me, and which ones either seem unnecessary or something to come back to later.

One of the tools I’ve found myself using a lot is Canva.  Having quick and easy templates to base your designs off of is an unbelievably useful tool.  I’ve already used it to help create more interesting slides as well as using it to design a poster for a different class.  It’s easy to create images that just look interesting and professional and can allow you to focus more on content.  Right now that’s really the only way I can understand these technologies, how do they make what I’m trying to do easier?

Here are a few posters I made for my EDCI 780 class and a slide from a presentation in ED-D 401.

Having a premade template helps present information more coherently
